Nice, although I must confess I am thinking of going back to a desktop when I return to the US. (Although I am tempted to get a Sony Vaio TR for when I travel.)
Well, the MacBook can function just like a desktop. It operates in clamshell mode, can drive a hi-def 30” external display, can support a wireless keyboard and mouse, and has the same processor as an Intel iMac (no dedicated graphics card, though). Plus, it can boot Mac OS or Windoze.
I saw the Intel iMac boot up for the first time this week. Damn, that thing boots up fast. Adobe apps run slow under Rosetta, but the Universal stuff zips along. I may find myself using my G4 Mac mini and my iMac G5 at work less and less.
